Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be primarily remote, allowing for flexible engagement while remaining accessible to students and staff. You will be engaged with a diverse student body at a private school located in New Castle, Colorado. The working hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to provide comprehensive support. On-call availability for urgent mental health situations may be required, ensuring you are a critical resource when students need immediate assistance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, taking into account their individual histories, presenting challenges, and potential risk factors.

• Collaborate with students to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on enhancing emotional well-being, coping strategies, and integration into the school community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy to address a spectrum of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering personal growth, emotional regulation, and resilience.

• Work alongside a dedicated team of mental health professionals—psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners—to coordinate holistic care and optimize student outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention, implementing de-escalation techniques and making referrals for higher levels of care when necessary.

• Deliver psychoeducation to students and their families, helping them understand mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can support recovery.

• Maintain accurate documentation as per legal and ethical standards, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.

• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines governing mental health practice within the school context.

Qualifications\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
