This is a full-time remote position, allowing you the flexibility to create a harmonious work-life balance while making a significant impact in the lives of your clients. Although primarily remote, you will be part of a supportive outpatient team that operates Monday through Saturday. Our structure allows for self-managed scheduling, enabling you to arrange your work hours to best suit your personal and professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Safe Harbor Therapeutic Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, which involve understanding their emotional, social, and psychological needs.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans based on initial assessments and ongoing evaluations, utilizing therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities.

• Triage and coordinate care, facilitating referrals to appropriate community resources and ensuring a holistic approach to your clients' well-being.
\n
• Regularly documenting all client interactions, treatment plans, and improvements, adhering to ethical guidelines and departmental standards.

• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient rounds to discuss client progress and adjustments needed in treatment strategies.
\n
• Providing case management for an assigned caseload, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and community programs to ensure comprehensive care.

• Engaging in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and supervision, enhancing your clinical skills and competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with a diverse population of patients in an outpatient setting, which includes children, adolescents, adults, and families. Your expertise will be instrumental in assisting clients who present with various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. The role emphasizes a patient-centered approach, ensuring that treatment is respectful of and responsive to the individual preferences, needs, and values of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to ethical practices in mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with diverse therapeutic modalities, with a specific focus on delivering CBT and other proven treatment methods.

• Previous work in an outpatient mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
