Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting therapeutic sessions with couples, providing guidance and support in both joint and individual contexts.

• Assessing and treating a range of issues, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol abuse
\n
• Physical and psychological abuse
\n
• Grief and loss
\n
• Familial conflicts, including sibling rivalry

• Cut-offs and estrangements among family members
\n
• Job-related stressors
\n
• Health and medical issues affecting family dynamics

• Challenges faced by blended families and issues surrounding remarriage
\n
• Separation, divorce, and the adjustment processes following these life changes
\n
• Mother-daughter relationship conflicts
\n
• Enhancing communication skills within family units
\n
\n
• Developing tailored treatment plans to address specific needs, ensuring each patient receives personalized and effective care.

• Regularly evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment methods accordingly.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse client base, including adults, children, and adolescents. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Active LMFT license in the state of Virginia.
