Make a meaningful impact as a bilingual paraprofessional and provide essential support to a 4th-grade student near Cambridge, MA. This contract opportunity runs from September 8th through June 23rd, 2027, focusing on one-on-one engagement with a Spanish-speaking student who will benefit greatly from your fluency and dedication. The schedule offers full-time hours averaging 32.5 to 35 hours per week across five school days.

Key Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency, with the ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English
• Experience working in a classroom or educational setting
• Paraprofessional experience (preferred)
• Compassionate and patient approach, tailored to working 1:1 with elementary students
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to supporting student success

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual support and guidance to a 4th-grade Spanish-speaking student throughout the school day
• Assist with classroom activities, assignments, and communication, ensuring educational access and encouragement
• Liaise with teachers and other staff to track progress and address educational needs
• Assist with accommodations and modifications as directed to facilitate student learning
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that respects cultural backgrounds and language diversity
