Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions in clients’ homes or group therapy sessions in our outpatient clinic, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) and physical violence by teaching essential anger management, coping strategies, and social skills.

• Enhance decision-making skills for both clients and caregivers to tackle in-home behavioral challenges effectively.

• Collaborate seamlessly with the Child Family Treatment Team and interdisciplinary specialists to provide a holistic approach to support.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with organizational timelines and standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings, providing insights and recommendations to improve client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary client base consists of children and adolescents aged 3-20 who are facing developmental and intellectual challenges. Your expertise will help these young individuals navigate their unique circumstances, improving their overall quality of life and empowering their families. Working effectively with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is critical as you strive to foster resilience and positive behavioral outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Possession of a current, unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, specifically from 4-7 PM, with a willingness to accommodate weekends as needed.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are essential for on-site client visits.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is a prerequisite for employment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
