This role is flexible and fully remote, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively. Although you will primarily work from home, you will engage directly with clients through in-home visits or our outpatient center in Everett, WA. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-home and outpatient therapy sessions catering to the individual needs of children and their families, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster coping skills and resilience.

• Implement targeted interventions that focus on anger management, social skills development, and reducing high-risk behaviors including self-injurious behavior and physical aggression.
\n
• Assist both youth and caregivers in developing effective decision-making strategies to address behavioral challenges in home environments.
\n
• Work collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care, sharing insights and recommendations during monthly meetings.

• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of sessions, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to established deadlines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is on children aged 3 to 20, specifically those managing developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. Your expertise will allow you to provide essential support to a diverse population, ensuring they receive the compassionate care necessary to thrive. By leveraging your bilingual skills, you can uniquely address the needs of families who speak Spanish or Portuguese, fostering better communication and understanding of their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active, unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is essential.
\n
• A commitment to availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours weekly during after-school hours (4-7 PM); weekend availability is advantageous.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are necessary for client home visits.
\n
• Prospective applicants must successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, to ensure the safety of vulnerable populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with positive behavior support strategies is preferred.

• Prior experience working directly with children (ages 3-20) with intellectual/developmental disabilities is highly advantageous and will help strengthen your candidacy for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
