G&G Holistic Consultation and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and flexible Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team remotely, providing vital therapeutic services to children with developmental disabilities and their families. Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote setting, which allows for flexibility in scheduling and location. However, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing in-person therapy when necessary, primarily at our outpatient office in Tucson. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring cohesive and comprehensive care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, both in-home and in our outpatient center, tailored to the unique needs of each child.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques focused on improving anger management, social skills, and coping methods for high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and physical aggression.

• Work closely with caregivers to enhance decision-making skills in managing behavioral challenges at home, fostering positive interactions and understanding.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, attending regular meetings to discuss progress and align therapeutic strategies.
\n
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to agency requirements.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies, providing insights and recommendations.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position will be to serve children and adolescents exhibiting developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will work with a diverse client base, emphasizing culturally competent care, particularly for bilingual clients who speak Spanish or Portuguese.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• You must possess an active and unrestricted License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM), with some weekend work considered advantageous.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing positive behavior support and applying therapeutic techniques specific to behavioral challenges.

• Previous experience working with children aged 3-20, particularly those with intellectual or developmental disabilities, is highly desirable.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for potential in-home therapy sessions.
\n
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
