Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional, Education Assistant, or in a similar student support role
• Demonstrated ability to work with children in PK-6th grade
• Skills supporting students with various disabilities, including behavior and mobility needs
• Comfortable implementing redirection, behavior interventions, and adaptive support techniques
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with instructional teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance to students as assigned, including one-on-one and group support
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
• Support classroom activities, transitions, and mobility as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to foster a positive, inclusive environment
• Encourage student independence, participation, and social engagement
• Maintain documentation and communicate student needs and progress to the team
