Work Environment\n

This remote position entails managing a flexible outpatient caseload, allowing you to work collaboratively with a supportive team while enjoying the autonomy of working independently. We utilize telehealth platforms and a HIPAA-compliant Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring streamlined operations and client safety. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that supports both professional growth and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide culturally-sensitive psychotherapy to a range of clients, including individuals, couples, and groups, tailored to their unique needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and sessions within our EHR system, ensuring compliance with all clinical documentation standards.

• Develop and adjust collaborative treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care techniques.

• Participate actively in regular team meetings, clinical trainings, and peer consultation sessions to continuously enhance your skills and share best practices.

• Contribute creatively to the development and improvement of our programs, ensuring that service delivery is aligned with community needs and expectations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a wide-ranging client population, including adults, teens, and children, often presenting complex emotional and psychological challenges. Our work focuses on diverse families seeking relational support, as well as underserved populations who may confront unique barriers to mental health care. You will play a crucial part in helping clients navigate their journeys toward mental wellness and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Currently hold an active LPCC license in the state of California.

• Possess a Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience, ideally with a strong emphasis on working with specialized populations.

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of DSM-5 diagnostics and ethical standards relevant to clinical practice.
\n
• Exhibit the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-focused environment.

• Show familiarity and experience working with marginalized patient populations, particularly BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients.

• Possess specialized training in areas such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, substance use treatment, or crisis intervention.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with extensive pre-licensed practice or specialized training in working with diverse populations will be prioritized. Experience in settings similar to community health clinics is a plus.
