OTF Failure Analysis Technician - Night Shift

Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Operate lab instruments to support high volume manufacturing of advanced technology nodes, including hands‑on handling of silicon wafers and pieces. Operate lab tools such as sputter coaters and spin coaters for sample pre‑treatment. Operate Dual Beam FIB/PFIB to perform site‑specific cross‑sectioning and prepare TEM samples, including site marking, depositing protective materials, de‑layering, imaging and TEM lamella preparation. Operate SEM for imaging and material analysis. Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform moderately complex sample fabrication procedures. Participate in safety forums, lab sustaining and development, process transfer, tool ownership, BKM development, and cross‑training on other techniques. Will work compressed 12‑hour shifts on the night shift. Lift and carry up to 50 lb; stand and walk for long periods occasionally. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or advanced engineering studies in electrical, electronic, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry or in failure analysis tools. Preferred Qualifications: More than five years of experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing or lab facility. Proficient in Dual Beam FIB/PFIB/SEM systems with hands‑on experience. Background knowledge of semiconductor device structures and advanced technology nodes.
