Description:
The position involves performing MRI scans on pediatric patients.
The daily caseload varies and includes inpatient, emergency room, and outpatient cases.
Working hours are scheduled from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
The tech will work during holidays if they fall on a scheduled shift.
Floating to other buildings on campus may be required to meet facility needs.
Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
All requests for time off must be included during the submission process.
Approval will depend on the manager's needs.
The facility allows for one shift cancellation every two weeks.
The type of facility is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds.
Scrub colors required are teal tops and black bottoms.
Charting is done using Epic software.
The role may involve emergency response team assignments during hurricane season.
Travelers should be informed about potential emergency assignments during this time.
Hurricane season runs from June through November each year, with peak activity occurring in August and September.
