Office & Workplace Manager - AI Startup - New York City (Onsite)

THE GIST:

Our client, a rapidly scaling & well-funded technology company at the forefront of applied AI, is seeking a top-notch Office & Workplace Manager to join their team.This person will create a seamless workplace experience and help build the operational foundation of a growing company. The ideal candidate is a culture carrier who brings positive energy to the office, anticipates needs before they arise, and helps create an environment where the team can do its best work.

THE NITTY GRITTY:
  • Own day-to-day office and workplace operations for the NYC headquarters
  • Manage vendors, office supplies, food and beverage programs, deliveries, maintenance, and facilities coordination
  • Create an exceptional in-office experience for employees and visitors
  • Anticipate operational needs and proactively solve problems before they escalate
  • Support team events, onsite meetings, and internal culture initiatives
  • Coordinate conference rooms, office organization, and workspace functionality
  • Partner closely with leadership on special projects and operational improvements
  • Help maintain a welcoming, polished, and high-energy office environment
  • Occasionally greet important guests or clients and ensure they have a great experience onsite
  • Take on additional responsibilities & projects as the company grows
THE ESSENTIALS:
  • 3+ years of experience in Office Management/Workplace Operations
  • Experience working in at a high-growth tech startup or venture capital firm strongly preferred
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
  • Someone who is proactive, resourceful, and anticipates problems before they happen
  • Strong communication and vendor management skills
  • Comfortable balancing both strategic projects and day-to-day operational tasks
  • Professional, warm, and polished presence

LOCATION : New York City (Onsite)

COMPENSATION: $110k-125k base salary + equity + benefits (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
