Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health status through initial consultations and regular follow-ups.

• Formulating individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and incorporating client feedback.

• Conducting both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to meet the diverse needs of our client population.

• Equipping clients with coping tools and strategies to help them navigate their mental health challenges.

• Collaborating and providing referrals to other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, when necessary for comprehensive care.

• Participating in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will provide support to a diverse array of clients facing various mental health issues, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to suit each individual's unique circumstances will be essential in fostering positive outcomes. Understanding the impact of cultural differences on mental health is critical, as you will be working with individuals from varied backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
\n
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling or related fields.

• A solid foundation in mental health disorders and a commitment to utilizing evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Skills in crisis intervention, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and address emergencies proactively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
