Work Environment\n

The position offers a flexible, remote work setting, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your own home while fully adhering to safety protocols and privacy laws. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care. Our schedule runs Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate specific patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify and understand patients' needs, formulating personalized treatment plans that align with best practice guidelines.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Create and facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that address prevalent mental health issues, promoting community awareness and engagement.
\n
• Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive psychiatric care that encompasses all aspects of the patient’s well-being.

• Offer intervention strategies during crisis situations and help navigate patients through mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, discussing treatment modalities and available resources to support their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all patient information is accurately recorded in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in internal case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

• Engage in ongoing professional education to stay informed about the latest research, therapeutic advances, and regulatory issues affecting mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at our clinic, you will primarily serve adults and adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and a variety of therapeutic approaches and evidence-based practices.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and create effective treatment strategies tailored to individual clients.

• Experience working with both individual and group therapy sessions, with a diverse population that reflects the community needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients and interdisciplinary team members.

• Knowledge of professional ethics and standards, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and the necessary digital tools required for remote work.

Compensation and Benefits\n
