Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: 100% on-site. Candidates must be able to work from The Woodlands, TX office. Downtown Houston may be considered for the right candidate.

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to attract top talent, develop recruiting strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting across all levels of an organization, including executive leadership, and brings a strong background supporting hiring within the Oil & Gas and LNG industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for a wide variety of positions, from entry-level through executive leadership, including intake meetings, sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding handoff.
• Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning and align hiring strategies with short- and long-term business objectives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing recruiting guidance, market insights, compensation trends, and hiring best practices.
• Recruit for technical, professional, operational, and executive-level positions across multiple business functions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for recruiting processes, systems, and applicant tracking system (ATS) functionality.
• Support the implementation, optimization, testing, and ongoing administration of the ATS.
• Develop and improve recruiting workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate interviews, collect hiring feedback, and facilitate timely hiring decisions.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance within the ATS.
• Partner with HR and People Operations to support background checks, onboarding, and new hire documentation.
• Assist with employer branding, talent pipeline development, and sourcing initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support to recruiting coordinators or junior team members as needed.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience , preferably within the Oil & Gas and/or LNG industry .
• Demonstrated experience recruiting for all levels of an organization, including executive leadership positions .
• Experience partnering with business leaders and hiring managers across multiple functional areas.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); implementation or optimization experience is a plus.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work 100% on-site. The Woodlands location is preferred; Downtown Houston may be considered for the right candidate.
