Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments, ensuring an understanding of each patient's individual needs and life circumstances.

• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate personalized treatment plans that consider cognitive, physical, and socioeconomic factors affecting elderly patients' mental health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including individual and family therapy, aimed at addressing a range of geriatric mental health conditions.

• Collaborate closely with our geriatric psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and community resources that can support recovery and stabilization.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves the geriatric population, focusing on patients facing complex mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and cognitive impairments. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
