As a remote telehealth facility, Life Works Psychiatric Center offers a flexible work setting that enables licensed therapists to connect and support patients from the comfort of their own homes. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility allowed based on patient needs. Our commitment to technology facilitates seamless communication and documentation through advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling our therapists to provide excellent care efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ psychological needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address those needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy in individual, couples, and family sessions.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support groups, offering patients community support while addressing shared mental health challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff—to deliver comprehensive and holistic patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services, guiding clients through urgent mental health situations with compassion and expertise.
\n
• Educate patients regarding their mental health, available treatment options, and existing community resources designed to support their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, while actively engaging in case consultations and team meetings.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health therapy to enhance your skills and efficacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective, patient-specific treatment plans.

• Proven experience in delivering therapy to individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients.

• Sound judgment with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical practices.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed mental health therapist in a similar setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
