Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth and comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate students' needs, crafting personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored for individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups aimed at common adolescent mental health issues, creating a sense of community and shared experience among participants.

• Collaborate closely with educational staff and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to student care and support.

• Provide crisis intervention services to students experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring prompt and effective support during emergencies.

• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, treatment pathways, and available community resources to empower informed decisions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to continuously improve practices and remain informed about current research trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position involves working with school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You will be integral in establishing a supportive therapeutic environment that prioritizes the emotional and psychological well-being of these young individuals, helping them navigate the complexities of adolescence while providing them with proven mental health strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Massachusetts.

• Demonstrable knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities, particularly in a school setting.

• Experience conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective and engaging treatment plans for children and adolescents.

• Ability to deliver individual and group therapy with sensitivity to the diverse needs of young clients.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational staff.

• Proficiency in the use of computer applications and electronic health records.

• A commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional development.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with experience in school-based mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually.
