Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct utilization reviews with insurance companies to secure initial and ongoing authorization by providing complete clinical information.

• Maintain responsiveness to clients' families and loved ones, returning all calls and emails within 2 hours during business hours and within 24 hours after hours.
\n
• Collaborate closely with the Utilization Review Department and Financial Department regarding authorizations and payments, ensuring smooth communication with referral sources and outpatient providers to facilitate continuity of care.

• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission, working with patients to reinforce coping skills, review transition plans, and confirm discharge appointments with clients and their support systems.
\n
• Manage crises effectively during therapy sessions, providing support to staff and maintaining a clinical environment of excellence.
\n
• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation throughout every phase of patient treatment, completing notes in real-time.
\n
• Establish therapeutic rapport with clients and their families, regularly assessing for any suicidal ideation or potential risks to safety.
\n
• Facilitate admission assessments for new patients with professionalism, mentorship, and a welcoming approach.
\n
• Participate actively in weekly treatment team meetings, contributing to treatment goals and offering clinical support to colleagues as needed.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Clearly Heard Counseling Services, you will be providing care to diverse populations within the community. You will engage with clients dealing with various mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues. Qualifications\n
