Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Family Guidance Therapeutic Center, you will participate in the following duties:

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, in both individual and group settings.

• Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care, enhancing the support offered to clients.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients experiencing urgent psychological distress, using de-escalation techniques to restore stability and safety.

• Lead community outreach programs and workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness, providing education, and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
