Key Responsibilities\n

• Administer mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to address clients' needs for stress relief and personal growth.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ specific struggles and aspirations, crafting personalized treatment plans accordingly.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that incorporate mindfulness techniques, meditation, and self-reflection, focusing on emotional regulation and therapeutic growth.

• Lead engaging group workshops where clients learn mindfulness practices and stress management techniques within a supportive peer environment.

• Document all client interactions meticulously, tracking progress, treatment outcomes, and modifications to mindfulness practices as required for continued client development.

• Regularly engage in personal mindfulness practices to maintain your own well-being while enhancing your therapeutic skills.

• Work cohesively with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated care that considers the physical and mental health of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals at our community health clinic who are experiencing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Your ability to connect, listen, and maintain a therapeutic relationship will be paramount for effective treatment outcomes. As a Mental Health Therapist, your understanding of diverse backgrounds and challenges faced by our clients will ensure that they receive tailored support in their journey toward wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is mandatory.

• Training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not strictly required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
