Work Environment\n

This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while engaging fully with a team of mental health professionals dedicated to patient care. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adjustments based on patient scheduling needs. Despite the remote setting, we maintain an interactive work culture, encouraging regular virtual team meetings and creative collaboration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history, needs, and treatment goals.

• Develop individual treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, enabling patients to share experiences and build community.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care, ensuring holistic approaches to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and essential support during mental health emergencies, helping to stabilize individuals in distress.

• Educate patients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering empowerment and informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Engage in professional development activities and contribute to team case consultations, enhancing collective knowledge and skills.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health therapy through continued education and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each facing varying levels of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Proficient knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough assessments and create effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Experience providing therapy to individuals and groups, particularly with diverse populations.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong ability to establish rapport with patients.

• Sound ethical judgment and professional boundaries in practice.

• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in direct patient care as a mental health counselor.
