Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to engage with clients from the comfort of your home. While a standard work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some adaptability will be necessary to meet the varying needs of our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' unique life experiences and challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions tailored to meet individual patient needs, factoring in their cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health issues and promoting overall well-being.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during critical mental health episodes, ensuring immediate and effective support.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, empowering them with information about treatment options and available resources within the community.

• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with applicable regulations and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance cultural competency and share best practices.

• Stay updated on current research and advances in the field of mental health therapy, particularly as they relate to culturally responsive practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R within the state of New York.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders along with a deep understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and cultural competence.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy using culturally engaging methods.

• Strong crisis management skills with the ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technology for documentation and communication.

• A strict commitment to professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and establishing boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We value our team members and provide a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
