As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report suspicious activity or policy violations according to site procedures. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership, staff, and responding emergency personnel. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
