Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients’ mental and emotional states to identify their needs and establish appropriate treatment plans.

• Deliver individual and couples therapy sessions aimed at improving mental health, enhancing communication, and resolving interpersonal conflicts.

• Facilitate ongoing evaluation of client progress, adapting treatment plans to align with their evolving goals and challenges.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress, leveraging your skills to provide immediate assistance and safety planning.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to remain current with industry best practices and emerging therapeutic techniques.

• Advocate for clients, providing them with resources and information that empower them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base may include diverse populations, such as adolescents grappling with identity issues, adults seeking relationship counseling, and families navigating complex emotional dynamics. You will tailor your therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of each client, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment that validates their experiences and promotes healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is mandatory.

• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in both verbal and written formats, are essential for documenting client interactions and collaborating with healthcare teams.

• A solid foundation in clinical assessment and treatment methodologies, ensuring timely completion of evaluations and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
