Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite in our rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate with a team of skilled healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care by conducting thorough assessments and developing customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals.
• Manage a reasonable patient caseload, ensuring that each session is focused and productive, allowing for comprehensive attention to individual needs.
• Utilize expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, employing manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to promote recovery.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions, incorporating modalities that enhance patients' movement and mobility while emphasizing non-surgical alternative approaches.
• Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that address specific patient requirements and enhance their functional capacity.
• Continuously assess and document patient progress, using electronic medical records (EMR) software such as Web PT to ensure accurate and thorough records.
• Collaboratively work with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to provide holistic patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, reinforcing positive health behaviors that support long-term well-being.
• Promote overall health by instructing patients on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination exercises.
• Regularly evaluate the efficacy of treatment plans, making necessary adjustments based on patient feedback and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist in our facility, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population includes athletes, active adults, and elderly individuals, all seeking to restore their mobility and regain an active lifestyle. Your role will directly impact their recovery by guiding them through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a strong foundation in clinical skills.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Florida, free from sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription is essential for effective patient care.
• Ability to use EMR software effectively, particularly Web PT, to maintain precise patient documentation.
• Current knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices and methodologies, ensuring that all interventions are supported by the latest research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable, equipping you with an understanding of patient management in a non-hospital-based environment.
• Demonstrated success in formulating and executing rehabilitation programs that result in measurable patient outcomes.
• Skill in applying advanced therapeutic techniques and exercise routines tailored specifically to individual patient capabilities and goals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
