Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, creating customized treatment plans that address their unique goals and needs.
• Provide compassionate and individualized physical therapy care, ensuring that each patient receives ample attention during their sessions.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, drawing on your prior experience to deliver effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities to help enhance patients' motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Use evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to provide personalized treatment options.
• Develop and guide fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific limitations and objectives of each patient.
• Monitor and assess patients' progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all services provided meticulously in compliance with healthcare regulations using EMR systems, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive healing environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist in this role will work with a varied patient population, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals with chronic pain, and patients post-surgery seeking to regain their functional abilities. Your focus will be on promoting recovery and enhancing the quality of life for all clients, providing them with the tools and support they need to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of a wide array of manual therapy modalities.
• Exceptional ability to design and implement successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation.
• A deep understanding of current physical therapy techniques backed by ongoing research and evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience in outpatient physical therapy, particularly within a sports rehabilitation context, is highly valued. Familiarity with orthopedic assessment and treatment protocols will enhance your ability to contribute to our team's success.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
