Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our advanced rehabilitation facility, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and treatment options. The facility operates mainly during business hours, offering a well-structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Progressive Rehabilitation Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' mobility and functional capabilities to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Developing tailored therapeutic programs to facilitate recovery and maximize patient outcomes, using evidence-based practices.
• Implementing and overseeing therapy sessions, utilizing manual therapy, exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Regularly re-evaluating patients to monitor progress and adjust care plans accordingly, ensuring each patient's journey is optimized.
• Collaborating effectively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to integrate multidisciplinary care.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families, empowering them with tools for continued recovery post-treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Our clients range from post-operative individuals and athletes to seniors managing chronic pain and rehabilitation needs. Your role as a Physical Therapist will be vital in helping these patients achieve functional mobility and regain their independence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid Florida physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain one is mandatory.
• Demonstrated clinical and decision-making skills in patient care and rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation. Familiarity with utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient progress is an advantage, as it enhances the quality of care provided.

Compensation and Benefits
