Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment programs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and procedures to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
• Monitor and document progress through detailed patient assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing both manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to enhance patient care and facilitate communication.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about therapy goals, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies to support ongoing recovery.
• Contribute to the overall success of the clinic by meeting utilization targets and participating in continuous professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will encompass a wide variety of patient specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine populations. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of your patients, helping them to regain strength, mobility, and independence following injuries or surgical procedures.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) obtained through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing physical therapy services.
• A current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on effective patient education.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

Compensation and Benefits
