Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite at our modern rehabilitation center that is equipped with the latest technology and resources to aid in patient recovery. The center is designed to promote interaction and teamwork among healthcare professionals. Your working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to relevant state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy, while supervising and mentoring assistant therapists as needed.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, developing individualized treatment plans focused on addressing functional limitations and disabilities.

• Provide comprehensive evaluation services that include gathering historical data, performing specific assessments, documenting findings, and offering informed treatment recommendations.

• Implement treatment protocols that are tailored to each patient based on evaluation results and ongoing assessments in alignment with the evolving healthcare landscape.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care, recognizing the need for modifications to treatment plans and documenting any changes in patient conditions.

• Oversee effective discharge planning and follow-up care, maintaining detailed documentation that clearly articulates each patient's treatment journey and outcomes.

• Complete ongoing corporate and clinical training as required, ensuring compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.

• Actively engage in facility meetings to contribute to teamwork, barrier removal in patient access, and improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Your approach will be holistic and patient-centered, focusing on restoring mobility, enhancing functionality, and ultimately improving the quality of life for each individual. By utilizing evidence-based practices and compassionate communication, you will play a crucial role in their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.

• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).

• A minimum of two years of direct outpatient orthopedic experience.

• A valid CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in implementing innovative treatment modalities and technology in physical therapy.

• Proven track record of successful collaboration within a multidisciplinary health care team.

Compensation and Benefits
