What You'll Do
As the face of the program in your territory, you'll identify, engage, and recruit new business partners while building strong community connections.
Drive Business Growth
- Travel throughout your assigned territory to meet with prospective business owners and entrepreneurs
- Generate interest through in-person meetings, presentations, and outreach efforts
- Introduce business owners to the delivery partner opportunity and communicate its value
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified partners
Develop Strategic Partnerships
- Establish relationships with local business leaders, franchise owners, and entrepreneurs
- Collaborate with Chambers of Commerce, economic development organizations, and business associations
- Represent the program at networking events, Lunch & Learns, community meetings, and recruiting events
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the recruitment process
Guide Partners to Success
- Evaluate and qualify prospective partners
- Support candidates through onboarding and application processes
- Ensure a positive experience from initial conversation through partnership activation
- Follow up consistently to maintain engagement and momentum
Manage Your Territory Like a Business
- Track activity, opportunities, and pipeline progress in Salesforce
- Maintain accurate reporting and recruiting metrics
- Develop strategies to maximize market penetration and recruitment success
- Identify opportunities to improve outreach and territory growth
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, account management, or a related customer-facing role
- Success in outside sales, field sales, prospecting, or relationship-building environments
- Experience utilizing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building relationships and driving results
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting business partners, franchisees, contractors, or vendors
- Background in territory sales, lead generation, community outreach, or market development
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
- Confidence learning and leveraging multiple technology platforms
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

In this role, you'll become the go-to point of contact for prospective partners across your territory. You'll build a strong network of community connections, create business opportunities through meaningful conversations, and help establish a growing delivery network that serves local communities.
Your ability to connect with people, earn trust, and drive engagement will directly contribute to the program's success.
Territory & Travel
This is a highly visible, field-based position covering Western North Carolina, with a focus around Statesville, Hickory, and Morganton.
- Travel throughout the territory 4-5 days per week
- Attend community events, networking functions, and partner meetings
- Work remotely when managing administrative responsibilities
- Mileage reimbursement and phone expense support provided
- Comfortable driving up to four hours round-trip within assigned territory

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
