Step into a dynamic role serving students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a school-based setting near Aurora, IL. This contract opportunity begins August 27, 2026, and runs through June 9, 2027, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in a diverse educational environment. This is an itinerant position, so you’ll provide services across two school sites, supporting learners from various age groups. The typical caseload utilizes a manageable workload model, averaging around 45 students.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
• Current Illinois SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required
• School-based SLP experience is highly valued

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in an itinerant capacity
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure integrated student support
• Maintain organized documentation and complete required reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Facilitate effective communication strategies for students of diverse backgrounds and language abilities
