This role is remote, allowing you to provide essential services from the comfort of your own space. Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for numerous critical functions, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and mental health status.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and the underlying mental health issues contributing to clients' struggles.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Collaborating with treatment team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a seamless integration of care.

• Educating clients' families about the recovery process and encouraging their involvement in treatment, fostering a supportive environment.

• Documenting all progress and treatment interventions in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily consist of individuals struggling with substance use disorders, ranging from alcohol dependence to prescription drug misuse. Many clients face co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. As a counselor, you will engage with a diverse demographic population, employing culturally competent practices to foster trust and connection.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A valid license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Completion of specialized training or demonstrable experience in addiction counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
