Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough consultations with interdisciplinary team members to align on patient care approaches and strategies.

• Administer age-appropriate assessments and interventions tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals and families.

• Lead parent support groups, creating a nurturing therapeutic environment focused on sensitive topics, including placement and adoption, especially concerning prenatally substance-exposed children.

• Perform developmental evaluations for children to identify areas needing support and to create individualized therapeutic plans.
\n
• Plan and deliver training sessions that educate clients, social workers, attorneys, judges, educators, and other mental health professionals about effective therapeutic practices and interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• At least two years of relevant experience in the field of marriage and family therapy.

• Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly in areas such as trauma, adoption issues, and substance exposure.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and maintaining virtual therapeutic relationships.
