Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique requirements, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in your practice.

• Provide relevant education and guidance to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques.

• Regularly monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to coordinate integrated care for clients.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, interdisciplinary team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Actively advocate for mental health awareness and client needs within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Seaside Counseling and Assessment, you will primarily work with clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your role will involve providing support to vulnerable groups, including homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic violence, thus contributing to their healing and recovery processes.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
