Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students and their families, identifying strengths and challenges related to emotional, social, and environmental factors.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs, utilizing evidence-based interventions.

• Engage in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for students returning from hospitalization or outpatient programs, collaborating with healthcare teams, educators, and families.

• Provide counseling, education, and support to families, addressing coping strategies associated with their child’s struggles and overall mental health.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops that deal with common issues affecting students, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.

• Act as a consultant for educators, offering training on recognizing mental health issues and providing resources for addressing them within the classroom.

• Participate in the multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and share relevant insights about student progress.

• Be available for an on-call rotation to address after-hour emergencies involving students, ensuring prompt response to crises.

• Contribute to community education initiatives that promote awareness of mental health resources available for students and families.

• Lead presentations and training sessions on psychosocial aspects of student care at educational conferences, showcasing your expertise in the field.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
