Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and moreadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, address discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Document all procedures meticulously, mentor new team members or trainees, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the workplace, while complying with regulatory and accrediting bodies' requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with coursework preparing for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year of hire.
• Continuously maintain certification throughout employment.
