Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique circumstances.

• Deliver individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain accurate and timely billing and documentation, including creating individualized treatment plans, and processing insurance authorization forms.

• Develop comprehensive crisis intervention plans and wellness strategies to support clients in maintaining stable mental health.

• Establish discharge plans in collaboration with clients to ensure continuity of care after therapy concludes.
\n
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state regulatory requirements, as well as the ethical guidelines set forth by NEHS policies and procedures.

• Commit to ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to stay updated with best practices in mental health.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to enhance collaborative approaches to care delivery.
\n
• Complete all licensure and mandatory training required by law and organization policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will work with a diverse clientele, addressing varying mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field resulting in eligibility for licensure.

• Must be a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in the State of Illinois with any of the following credentials: LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
