The Sushi Chef plays a vital role in crafting high-quality sushi dishes, ensuring excellent presentation and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Working within a medium-sized team of 4-6 chefs, this role requires precision, culinary skill, and collaboration to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi dishes according to established recipes and techniques
- Present food attractively to enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ensure quality control of ingredients and finished products
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines strictly
- Coordinate tasks and communicate effectively within the kitchen team
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in sushi preparation
- Proficiency in sushi making techniques and knife skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
