Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and continuous evaluations of clients to understand their mental health status and identify their specific counseling needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, supportive therapy, or psychoeducation based on evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate bi-weekly or weekly therapy sessions for clients, utilizing culturally responsive approaches to address diverse mental health challenges.

• Monitor clients’ progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.

• Collaborate with external healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and facilitate referrals as needed.

• Execute crisis intervention strategies effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

• Document all interactions and treatment plans accurately within our EHR system to meet compliance and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Our clients range from adolescents to older adults, requiring flexible, adaptive counseling strategies tailored to age, background, and specific circumstances. This role also emphasizes inclusivity and responsiveness to the unique challenges faced by our clientele.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active and valid counseling license such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW issued by the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, showcasing a strong understanding of various mental health conditions.

• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and cultural competency in therapy practices.

• Proven experience in both individual and group therapy environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
