Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Deliver specialized therapeutic interventions based on the latest evidence and practice guidelines, focusing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster a collaborative treatment approach.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health services, particularly in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Expertise in evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT is a must.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
