Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication development in a dynamic school environment near Salt Lake City, UT. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about working with pediatric populations. Whether you are an experienced clinician with ASHA CCC’s or a Clinical Fellow (CFY) eager for hands-on growth, your expertise will help students thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Current master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) strongly preferred, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Proficiency with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Eagerness to provide compassionate services in a school setting
- Open to travel professionals seeking a rewarding school-based placement
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings for students
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, services, and progress reports in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and contribute to student success strategies
- Provide education and resources for staff and families to promote optimal communication outcomes
