Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Elevance, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are crucial for the well-being of your patients:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, facilitating a clear understanding of each patient’s unique mental health needs to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring adaptability according to individual client preferences.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate and timely updates on progress notes and treatment plans.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to design cohesive care strategies that address the complexities faced by patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with patients in hospice care, many of whom are grappling with complex emotional and psychological challenges associated with life-limiting illnesses. Your role is to provide compassionate support that prioritizes dignity and quality of life, while also addressing the needs of their families during this crucial time.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.

• Current and active LCSW licensure in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations to address a range of mental health concerns, particularly in hospice or palliative care settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. In addition to a desirable salary, we offer:
