Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our rehabilitation center, which emphasizes a supportive and encouraging environment for both patients and staff. Physical Therapists at Sustain Recovery Rehab Center enjoy a workweek that runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients to develop effective and customized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
• Implement hands-on therapy techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to aid recovery.
• Track patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients on their injury conditions, recovery processes, and strategies to prevent future injuries, fostering empowerment and engagement in their rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves outpatient clients, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. This diverse patient population allows you to apply a range of therapeutic techniques and develop specialized skills tailored to different recovery needs.

Qualifications

• A valid New York State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, showcasing your ability to handle diverse patient cases.
• Experience with advanced therapeutic modalities or rehabilitation technologies is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
