In It Together Physical Therapy is excited to welcome a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist to our team in Newburgh, New York. In this full-time role, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our patients through tailored rehabilitation programs and hands-on therapeutic interventions. With a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, you will enjoy a healthy work-life balance while delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Work Environment

The clinical atmosphere at In It Together is dynamic and patient-centered. As a Physical Therapist, you will work primarily in patients' homes, establishing meaningful connections and fostering trust while providing care. With a steady caseload of 6-7 patients per day, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships and contribute substantially to their recovery and wellness journeys. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations to understand musculoskeletal conditions and develop customized rehabilitation plans that match their specific needs.
• Implement diverse therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, to enhance mobility and physical performance.
• Educate patients and their families on effective recovery strategies, injury prevention techniques, and long-term wellness maintenance to empower them in their health journeys.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress thoroughly and accurately, adhering to required standards for medical record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on an outpatient demographic that may include individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse client base, tailoring your rehabilitation approaches to individual age groups and physical abilities, ensuring every patient receives the care and attention they deserve.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in New York State.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to craft and execute effective treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster patient rapport and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is essential. Experience in outpatient settings is an advantage, but enthusiastic new graduates with a passion for helping others are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Experience working closely with home health services is beneficial, as you will be navigating patient therapy in personal settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with an attractive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with employer matching to assist you in your financial planning.
