Work Environment\n

This remote position offers a flexible work environment, allowing you to manage your professional commitments while enjoying the comforts of home. Here at Sound Choice, our team thrives on collaboration and support, participating in regular virtual meetings to discuss client care strategies and professional development opportunities. We understand the importance of a manageable caseload to prevent burnout, with expectations of approximately twenty-eight client visits per week, allowing ample time for client interaction and care planning.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to accurately identify their mental health needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to support client progress.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment methods when necessary to ensure effective and positive outcomes.
\n
• Educate clients on coping mechanisms and self-care strategies, preparing them with tools to maintain their mental health effectively.
\n
• Engage in collaborative care, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support to clients when needed.
\n
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and ethical standards while ensuring accurate clinical documentation.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and tailoring your skills to meet clients’ needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on serving diverse demographics within the community, providing culturally competent care to individuals and families from various backgrounds. You will engage with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and treatment tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Current and valid Washington State license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Proven commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and a genuine willingness to serve a diverse population.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
