Get Well Counseling Center is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional mental health care to individuals who have experienced trauma. Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, emphasizing flexibility and work-life balance while providing the essential support our patients need. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Our team thrives on collaboration, supporting one another through regular case consultations and team meetings where diverse therapeutic approaches are discussed and refined.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to their unique needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), for effective patient outcomes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, engaging patients in processing their trauma while promoting the development of coping strategies and resilience.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrative approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, employing specialized techniques to assist patients in immediate distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, ensuring they have access to the resources necessary for their healing journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Engage in ongoing professional development related to trauma-informed care, keeping abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults experiencing trauma-related disorders, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with their unique stories, experiences, and needs. Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach are vital in helping them navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic approach to care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a variety of computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably focused on trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
