Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ trauma history and tailor suitable treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address trauma recovery, focusing on building resilience and coping skills.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate positive patient outcomes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients navigate through their experiences of trauma, while promoting healing and growth.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive support for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention services and support to patients dealing with trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your acute assessment skills and therapeutic interventions.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources, enhancing overall awareness and understanding.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

The primary focus of this role is on trauma survivors, including individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be working with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and needs. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is mandatory.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working in a mental health treatment setting, preferably with trauma-impacted populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
