This full-time role allows you to provide specialized care to individuals affected by trauma while operating in a remote outpatient office setting in Yonkers, New York. Work Environment\n

This position operates within a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility while connecting with patients in an outpatient capacity. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, emotional responses, and overall mental health status.

• Design and execute personalized treatment plans tailored specifically to the needs of each client, emphasizing trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, equip them with coping strategies, and promote a holistic healing environment.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to provide integrated patient care and support.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping skills, and available community resources to enhance understanding and facilitate recovery.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with legal standards and organizational policies to protect patient confidentiality.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building therapeutic relationships.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
