Work Environment The role is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technologies to connect with patients. Moreover, the operational hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential evening shifts to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and diagnose patients' psychological conditions. Create and implement tailored treatment plans that are evidence-based and reflective of clients' unique circumstances. Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to address individual patient concerns. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional well-being and the development of effective coping strategies. Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic, integrated care for all patients. Provide crisis intervention and support during high-pressure situations, ensuring the safety and care of patients in distress. Educate patients and their families on mental health concerns, treatment options, and available community resources. Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards. Participate in case conferences and team meetings to contribute to ongoing discussions of patient care. Stay informed of the latest research, treatment methodologies, and regulatory changes within the mental health field. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey is mandatory. A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities is essential. Proficiency in conducting detailed mental health assessments and developing effective treatment strategies. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in delivering mental health counseling is preferred. Expertise in delivering both individual and group therapy, employing multiple therapeutic approaches and adapting as necessary. Strong crisis intervention skills and experience in high-pressure environments are highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building therapeutic relationships with patients. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
